Welcome to the Silver Creek Adventist School

Where instruction is Bible based, integrated, and thematic~ 

Silver Creek is located in a small rural community in the foothills of Western North Carolina. Currently we have four teachers. The classrooms are multi-grade, providing the students with opportunities to receive instruction at various levels. Class sizes are small, so students receive quality instruction from their teacher. This allows the teacher to meet each child’s developmental needs.

Growing in Christ

Every school year students will explore theme based units. In addition, students will have the opportunity to enjoy curriculum based themed days, STEM activities, project-based learning opportunities and much more. Students will grow academically and spiritually developing their minds and character in accordance with Christ.

The theme based approach to learning helps students make connections between content and the real world in which we live. Our teachers use the 4MAT and the Whole Brain Teaching strategy to engage students in the learning process. Multi-grade classrooms naturally give cooperative learning opportunities.

Our Purpose

Our mission is to introduce Jesus, the Savior to each Silver Creek student. We want your child to desire and choose a personal lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. We want our students to answer God’s call to serve in their local and global community.

The Bible curriculum teaches Biblically based Adventist doctrine. Our program follows the North American Division and the Southern Union of Seventh-day Adventists curriculum. Standards in NAD Seventh-day Adventist schools reflect the Adventist worldview as well as the integration of national and state standards.
